Covent Garden Dance: Ballet Under the Stars

The 17th Century walled Dutch garden at Hatch House is covered to create a magical dinner theatre. Ballet Under The Stars created by Matt Brady Director of The Covent Garden Dance Company, is a spectacular evening of ballet, a summer calendar highlight. It has been described as the ‘The Glyndebourne of Ballet’, exhilarating, exquisite, unforgettable and utterly out of this world.

Dancers from some of the most prestigious ballet companies in the world perform at Hatch. This year dancers will come from The Royal Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, Staatsballett Berlin, Norwegian National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Béjart Ballet.

There are three sections of dance, each comprising 4 works performed between dining courses. The programme includes classical, neo-classical and contemporary works of dance and ballet. A magical night…every night.
