Bath Film Festival 2026

For its 36th edition, the Bath Film Festival is bringing ten days of extraordinary cinema, special events and unforgettable film experiences to venues across the city, offering an invitation to look at the world a little differently and discover what it means to be human.

This year’s programme explores stories of love, identity, family, belonging and change, bringing together eagerly awaited new releases, award-winning films, UK premieres and hidden gems from around the world. Alongside this, there will be the chance to attend filmmaker Q&As, live performances, discussions and one-off events in some of Bath’s most unique venues, from historic locations to unexpected spaces.

Continuing Filmbath’s commitment to championing female and non-binary filmmakers, more than 50% of this year’s programme is F-Rated.
