Looking for a meaningful way to connect with your community, learn new skills, or support a cause close to your heart? Mark your calendar for the Volunteer Fair!

Hosted by local network charity 3SG, this free, informal drop-in event brings together over 50 local charities and community groups under one iconic roof. Whether you have a few hours a month to spare or are seeking a regular commitment, there are roles to suit every passion, schedule, and skill level – from environmental projects and youth work, to cultural activities and health and wellbeing services.

You can chat directly with local groups, attend free bite-sized workshops designed to help you learn more about volunteering, and enjoy coffee and cake inside the Abbey. There is no pressure to sign up on the day – it’s simply a chance to browse and explore how giving a little time can boost your own happiness while strengthening our local community.
