blossom & beau, the Bath-based brand behind the award-winning Dazzling Diva natural deodorant, has launched its second product: Dazzling Diva Natural Body Mist, giving tween and teen girls a complete freshness routine just in time for the new school year.
The light, water-based mist shares the award-winning deodorant’s signature Parma Violet and Peony fragrance. It refreshes skin and supports moisture balance, delivering a delicate, feminine scent without the heaviness of a conventional perfume, making it an ideal first fragrance for girls new to scent. Like the deodorant, it is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, paraben-free, dermatologically tested, free from any unnecessary chemicals, suitable for delicate skin, and made in the UK.
Founder Amanda Johnson, a mum of five and a dedicated NHS paramedic of more than 20 years, created the deodorant brand for tween girls struggling to find an age-appropriate natural roll-on deodorant for her then seven-year-old daughter, Chloe.Â
“The body mist felt like the obvious next step,” Amanda says. “A way to give girls a first taste of fragrance that isn’t a diluted grown-up perfume, but something made just for them.”
The launch caps a milestone year for the local brand, which won a Vegan Choice Award, was shortlisted for a Junior Design Award, scooped a Theo Paphitis Small Business Award, named a finalist at the London Packaging Innovation Awards, and secured a seal of approval from some of the UK’s most celebrated investors and entrepreneurs after pitching on Bristol’s Wheel of Dreams.
The body mist for girls is priced at £9.95 and is available at blossomandbeau.com
