Wild Flour crowned Bath Dragons 2026 winner

Following a competitive process and a standout live final, Wild Flour Cake Company has been named the Bath Dragons 2026 winner.

Each business brought something different to the stage, reflecting the depth of talent, innovation and ambition across the region.

The live final was formally opened by The Lord‑Lieutenant of Somerset, with the overall winner announced on the night by Cllr Kevin Guy, Deputy Leader of the West of England Combined Authority. The event brought together a broad cross‑section of the regional business community, including representatives from Invest in B&NES, Bath BID, Bath Spa University Business School, University of Bath School of Management and Bath Building Society, which also supported the initiative through a series of networking dinners in the lead-up to the awards.

Wild Flour Cake Company was announced as the overall winner, with Sporting Sensations a close second. Founder Chris Pile delivered a powerful pitch, sharing the personal story behind the creation of the business and the impact it continues to have on young people across the region.

CaliUnity delivered a poignant presentation, recounting how its early workout sessions during lockdown helped save a man’s life by supporting his mental health through exercise. That moment became a catalyst for the business and its ambitions as a Community Interest Company.

Nuditea showcased its passion for bringing an entirely new product to market, presenting its concept for iced tea lattes with clarity and professionalism.

Wild Flour impressed the judges with its proven business model, steady financial performance and clear ambition for growth. Founder Jessica Langford-Snape demonstrated how the business is already building momentum, with investment in a new unit and equipment to expand production. The Bath Dragons panel were particularly keen to support Jessica and her team as they look to reach new customers and scale the brand.
