The curriculum: Kingswood School provides a co-educational setting with a reputation for outstanding pastoral care. Offering an inclusive, extended family day and boarding community which is free of pretension and provides academic rigour and real objectives for all pupils. The school’s curriculum is engaging and interactive, with small class sizes and significant support being vital to pupils’ progress. With a balance of traditional subjects such as Mathematics and Science, Kingswood also embraces contemporary changes in the curriculum, alongside a strong emphasis on languages.

Co-curricular activities: There are more than 100 extra-curricular activities available to pupils both during the week and at weekends, which means there is something for everyone. Students are encouraged to participate in a wide a range of co-curricular activities to discover new talents, improve existing skills and find activities and hobbies that they enjoy which will take them past school and often become lifelong interests.

Pastoral care: The House system is at the heart of Kingswood School’s pastoral support structure and all staff provide daily pastoral support to pupils, whatever their needs. Pastoral care was ranked outstanding in every area of its latest inspection and relationships between staff and pupils are also highly regarded by parents. Personal tutors mentor and assist pupils, with personal targets offering support to achieve individual aims.
