National law firm Stone King is celebrating another Band 1 ranking for its Somerset-based private wealth law team from independent legal guide Chambers and Partners. Three of the firm’s Partners have also been individually recognised for their work with high net worth clients.
Alison Allen, Stone King’s Chair, along with Andrew Mortimer and Dan Harris, have all been highly ranked this year, as an acknowledgement of their tireless commitment to their clients.
Alison specialises in working with vulnerable people and their families to create trusts and other arrangements, while Andrew has been advising high net worth clients at Stone King since 1996. Dan, who is also Head of International and Cross-Border at Stone King, advises individuals on succession and taxation matters in all jurisdictions of the world.
Each year, Chambers and Partners carry out extensive research on law firms up and down the country that work with high net worth clients, meaning this recognition of Stone King’s people comes highly regarded.
Alison (pictured) said: “I am delighted to receive this accolade from Chambers and Partners, especially as part of such an amazing team which has collectively received Band 1 status for the fifth consecutive year. We have a very long history of acting for families and individuals at Stone King. This year, we are celebrating 240 years of continuous service to our cliets and the communities in which we operate. The strength and depth of our teams means we are able to offer advice across a very wide range of circumstances. Our experience and expertise allows us to treat all our clients as individuals, and we tailor our advice to a person’s own unique circumstances.”
Andrew, who has dedicated his entire career to advising individuals on a wide range of personal law matters, said: “I feel incredibly proud to be part of such a strong team. We are leaders in our field, and the hard work that goes into that every day cannot be overstated. At Stone King, we can look after clients’ needs across the spectrum of legal issues, beyond wealth and estate planning – for example, our family and dispute resolution teams are able to give individuals and their families advice on issues such as separation and divorce and litigation.”
Dan agreed: “We are one of the few law firms in the UK with the depth of knowledge and connections to work effectively for individuals on a national and international basis; we can offer advice to people in respect of their interests, at home or anywhere else in the world. The depth of our knowledge and experience means that our clients place their trust in us time and again to safely navigate them through the complexities of life.”
