Accountancy firm Richardson Swift welcomes eight new staff members

Bath-based accountancy firm Richardson Swift has added eight new staff members in recent weeks as it plans for growth in 2025.

This year marked the 15th anniversary of the company, already the largest independent company of chartered accountants and tax advisers, based solely in the city.

The company, was founded with just a handful of employees but has grown rapidly over the years, now employing around 45 people at its Laura Place office.

In this latest recruitment round RS has added four new apprentice roles: accounts trainees Sam Jeans, George Riccio, and Katie Box, as well as admin trainee Charlotte Bennett.

It has also recruited accounts assistant Bradley Sansom and three fully qualified staff: tax executive Ed Gould, client adviser Paige Kondratowicz, and Alex Wiffen, who has joined the audit team.

Richardson Swift managing director Debbie Boulton said the company was entering an exciting new phase in its evolution, with further expansions to the team planned in the next few months.

“We are in the fortunate position of having a very heathy and loyal client portfolio and we envisage steady growth to continue, so like all the best businesses we are making sure that we have a great team in place so we will be able to continue to provide the high level of service our clients expect.

“We are also expanding our apprenticeship programme, as this is a great way to future-proof your workforce as well as providing much-needed work-based training for school leavers. Many of our current team started with us as apprentices, and it’s always a privilege to see them mature professionally and develop expertise in specialist areas,” said Debbie.

The company has a mix of private and corporate clients, and the team prides itself on working collaboratively to provide innovative tax solutions and great personal and business accountancy advice.
