Philip Pettemerides, the lead clinician at Edgar Buildings Dental in Bath and the Clinical Lead for the South West and Wales with Portman Healthcare, has recently completed a 6.75Km race in Munich while attending the EAED conference on Decoding the Centre Effect.
The conference, which is based on Aesthetic Dentistry, brings together dentists from all over Europe and as far afield as the USA, Australia, Japan and Korea with lectures and live procedures beamed in to the lecture hall.
Philip ran a creditable race coming in eighth out of 50 runners. He aimed to raise £500 in aid of Cancer Research UK, with the current amount raised at £1,500.
Philip has attended this annual conference since 1997, but his first charity run took place last year. Now he intends to complete the run each year.
