U3A Monthly Talk: Walking to Rome by Christ O'Grady

This talk conveys the true and uplifting story of one man’s solo walk for four months from Pershore, Worcestershire to the eternal city of Rome, Italy. At 50, Chris O’Grady decided to make a long walking journey to Rome and repeatedly witnessed the kindness of strangers, learning how rewarding
his kind of experience can be. The talk is illustrated by slides that bring this journey to life.

Chris is a very popular and entertaining educational speaker.

Doors open at 9.45 for coffee, and the talk starts at 10.30am. Admission is free for members but a donation of £5 is requested for non-members.
