Turner Versus Constable: The Great British Paint-Off

A lecture by art historian and lecturer Nicola Moorby on the story of the epic rivalry between the two giants of British Art in the nineteenth century, J.M.W. Turner and John Constable. Nicola specialises in British art of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. She has published books including How to Paint Like Turner (Tate Publishing, 2010) and Turner and Constable: Art, Life and Landscape, published by Yale University Press in 2025.
