Bath Camerata: God & the Universe – Stanford & his Students

Join award-winning chamber choir Bath Camerata for a concert in St Mary’s Bathwick to celebrate the legacy of Charles Villiers Stanford and his illustrious pupils on the 100th anniversary of the great composer’s death.

The programme includes an enticing selection of English songs, from Vaughan Williams’ charming Five English Folksongs to Holst’s exquisite The Evening Watch, and Stanford’s masterly setting of Tennyson’s poetry in God and the Universe. The choir will be joined by guest conductor Paul Spicer for this concert – an acclaimed conductor and specialist in English music.
