From 13 January until 14 March Mo Lancaster’s Linocuts exhibition will be free to view at Victoria Art Gallery.
Mo has always been fascinated by printmaking and has specialised in reduction lino cut for several years, producing small hand-printed limited editions.
She draws and observes women together and is amused by the camaraderie and the way interact and form groups, are determined to have a laugh and good time or just be quietly introspective together. She is interested in shape line and blocks of colour, the dresses giving an opportunity for overprinting and tone.
