Following the redevelopment of the inside of Bath Canoe Club, it hopes that this improvement will encourage people in the local area to get paddlings.
The club offers kayaking and canoeing courses at Saturday afternoon taster sessions and four-week training courses which run throughout the summer. Kids, adults, families, beginners and improvers are all welcome so BCC has something for everyone.
As well as being lots of fun, kayaking provides a full-body workout and is a great way of meeting people, with many trips ending in tea and cake or a visit to the local pub. So pop along, give kayaking a go and meet the volunteers that make BCC such a fun place to be.
Saturday Taster Sessions are perfect for those that want to have a go before committing to a course or those that are just looking for something fun to do on a Saturday afternoon. Tasters run from 2pm – 5pm from April to August and costs £20.
BCC also offers introductory and improver courses in kayaking and canoeing and separate introductory kayaking courses for families. Learn the basic skills for sea, white-water or flat-water trips with the club. Courses are available on Tuesday or Thursday evenings in May, June, July, August and September.
