Bath College opened its doors to brides-and-grooms-to-be looking to add their own personal stamp on their wedding day.
The Wedding Fair had a wide range of local exhibitors, as well as information on evening and Saturday courses in crafts that would be perfect for adding a DIY element to visitors’ upcoming weddings.
The College offers part-time Love2Learn leisure courses in floristry, cake decoration, photography, graphic design, pattern cutting, jewellery, make-up artistry, video editing, threading, nail art and millinery, all of which generated a lot of interest.
Laurel Penrose, Principal, opened the inaugural Wedding Fair with a ceremonial cutting of a ribbon. She was delighted to be presented a beautiful bouquet, prepared by floristry students, by a young girl in a bridesmaid dress from Solitaire Brides.
Attendees were wowed as they approached the College with Fizzbox bar, a converted horsebox, outside the doors, as well as a beautiful vintage VW Beetle from Lovebug Wedding Cars.
Other exhibitors included The Cake Architect, Boo Delicious Sweet Cart, Paul Gillis Photography, Bath Bridal Hair, Bunting by Jen, Clayzer Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting, Suave Owl Menswear, Bath Function Rooms and more.
The College were delighted to hold their first Wedding Fair and are already planning the next one, which will be early 2019.
