Andrews employees in the Bath and Midsomer Norton branches have committed to support the RUH’s Forever Friends Appeal and turn £20 into £20,000.

Ian Salter, Business Manager at Andrews said ” we are carrying out a number of activities in order to raise monies for the breast unit at the RUH, there is a quiz night on Tuesday 3rd December at The Claremont in Camden, a fundraising day on the 12th December across all the Bath branches and we are running a raffle with some great prizes including a spa day for two with lunch at Combe Grove, afternoon tea for two at The Bath Priory Hotel in Weston and a meal for four with a bottle of wine at the Ring O’ Bells in Widcombe.”

Raffle tickets cost £1 each and can be purchased from any Andrews branch in Bath. The draw will take place on Burns night, Saturday the 25th January between 5-7pm, at The Bear in Poet’s Corner as a nod to one of the first fundraising events that ever took place in aid of the RUH in the mid-1800s which happened to be a poetry competition.

Tickets for the raffle event at The Bear are £20 each and include a raffle ticket and Scottish themed buffet which includes the legendary dessert, deep-fried mars bar.“We were excited to be involved in such a worthwhile cause for an invaluable resource in the community that we all rely upon” said Nik Carson General Manager at The Bear “the sense of community is very strong in Bath and we are looking forward to hosting this event and welcoming people in support of the RUH”.
