Gidleigh Park is offering a delicious three course lunch with coffee for £50 per person.

To celebrate Michael Wignall’s first year at Gidleigh Park, guests can take their pick from a menu of mouth-watering dishes to enjoy in the elegant two Michelin-starred restaurant.

Starters include a delightful celeriac dashi with avocado and Salcombe crab and are followed by Lancashire suckling piglet with pigs head croquette and abalone mushroom or Cornish plaice with sardine dressing and sea urchin.

For dessert, indulge in Michael’s speciality of chocolate gateaux opera with yoghurt rocks and marinated cherries. Teas, infusions and coffee served with sweet treats are all included in the £50 offer too.

In the past year, Michael Wignall has attained two Michelin stars for the restaurant at Gidleigh Park and achieved a prestigious 5 AA rosettes in the very first time so many rosettes have been awarded in January – Michael Wignall is fast becoming one of the most highly rated chefs in the UK.
