Clarks Village has put together a cracking line-up of free activities for children and families this Easter holiday.

Join Clarks Village for three weeks of egg-citing activities and egg-cellent discounts across your favourite shops from Saturday 1 to Sunday 23 April 2017.

Chocolate factory

Friday 7 – Saturday 8 April, 11am – 4pm
Decorated with giant candy canes and lollipops for the weekend, Clarks Village invites families to the gardens outside Radley and Thornton’s for Easter egg decorating in its craft gazebo, with a sweet trolley challenge – guess the number of sweets in the jar. A children’s entertainer will also be creating bubbles, juggling and giving four 15 minute acrobatic performances for all guests to enjoy. Visitors also have the opportunity to win a Lindt Easter goodie bag by completing a short iPad survey.

Knitted hedgehog trail

Make like a hedgehog and come out of hibernation, joining Somerset Wildlife Trust – one of Clarks Village’s Charities of the Year – guests are invited to an egg-stravagent trail of knitted hedgehogs hidden around the village. Families can explore their favourite shops and find the 10 hedgehog families hidden in selected stores. When children find all 10 prickles (a group of hedgehogs), they will receive a chocolate reward from Lindt. If you’re inspired by the trail and want to join in with the knitting fun, you can download your very own hedgehog pattern online and donate to the charity.

Prize draw Easter goodie bag

Throughout the Easter holidays, Clarks Village will be asking shoppers to fill in a lucky postcard to be in with a chance to win a Thornton’s Hamper, worth nearly £40. The tasty Easter hamper contains a child’s Star egg, a child’s Rocket egg, an adult’s Revelation egg, an adult’s Fruit Classis egg, two bags of chocolate Smiles (milk & white), a lemon bar, a Viennese bar and a Cappuccino bar – all presented in a handy Jute bag.

Store Window Competition

Clarks Village springs into the season with its 90 shops, encouraging them to design their store windows for Easter with a selection of spring images and decoration. The Clarks Village team will shortlist the best five displays, and then ask the public to vote for their favourite via Facebook, closing on 23 April.

Hop on down to Clarks Village for all the Easter activities this holiday and enjoy the range of egg-cellent deals on offer.
