Kit Glaisyer, a widely admired landscape painter, returns to Bath for a year-long residency at his new studio on Great Pulteney Street.
This follows on from his popular Cinematic Landscapes exhibition at the Octagon Gallery in 2013 and continues his revival of the Romantic landscape tradition, taking inspiration from the west country, particularly the Dorset countryside.
Kit works on each piece for between six to eight months, combining traditional and contemporary techniques to create a magnificent series of panoramic landscape paintings.
The artist is now opening his Bath studio to visitors by appointment, showing a selection of recent and commissioned works.
An online portfolio of his work can be seen at: kitglaisyer.com and you can arrange a visit to his studio either by calling: 07983 465789 or emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
