Bath Decorative Antiques Fair

After more than 30 successful years at The Pavilion, Bath Decorative Antiques Fair celebrates a return with a new autumn date on 22-24 October 2021.

This hugely popular regional event enjoys an international audience, and a unique atmosphere with a loyal following of exhibitors and clients. The queue on opening day is legendary – spreading all the way up to the main road from the front of the building, studded with stars of the antiques trade firmament who start lining up hours before the doors open – in all weathers!

The new date in the Autumn offers exhibitors a chance to look inwards with lush decorative furniture for the home, library furniture for the essential home office, architectural elements, lighting, luxurious antique textiles and rugs from Asia and the Levant, folk art, mirrors, early glass and English and Continental pottery with a broad range of art from period portraits to Modern & Contemporary by named artists.

Historically a Spring event, buyers look for antiques for the garden and conservatory but with the trend to mix these pieces in interiors exhibitors will not disappoint with a diverse selection of English, Italian and French antique tables and chairs and decorative ephemera.

Around 50 exhibitors will converge on the Georgian City of Bath from across the UK to reveal stock saved for this important fixture in the fairs calendar.  Pent up demand is likely to be a feature of this Autumn edition, visitors having missed the Spring 2021 date due to the upheaval of the pandemic.
