Lucknam Park’s renowned Cookery School, run by Ben Taylor, offers guests a diversity of interesting cookery courses. Ben is passionate about locally-sourced ingredients and has designed an innovative new course calendar under the guidance of Michelin-starred Executive Chef Hywel Jones.

New this spring:

  • Healthy Japanese Dishes – 26 April & 10 May 2017

Eating freshly prepared Japanese food is a great way of eating healthily as most dishes are low in fat and high in protein. Using authentic Japanese ingredients and recipes, the course will show you how to prepare authentic Japanese cuisine which leave you feeling energised.

  • Street Food – 7 April, 11 May & 8 June 2017

Street food is becoming increasingly popular in the UK and it’s one of our favourite styles of food; laid back, full of flavour and as down to earth as you can get. Dishes include pulled pork with honey coleslaw in crunchy tacos and Philly cheese steak sandwich.

  • Evening Taster Courses – 29 March, 6 April, 16 & 30 May, 27 June 2017

Taster Courses include Festival of Spices, Creative Canapés, Cooking Gastro, Discover Thai and Speedy Suppers.

Watch Ben Taylor, the talented Head Tutor, show you how to rustle up the perfect speedy supper whilst enjoying a glass of wine. After the demonstration, take a seat and enjoy sampling Ben’s cooking.

A great day out for men of all abilities, with a variety of great dishes to learn as well as techniques to test out at home.

The Cookery School offers full and half-day courses for a maximum of 12 participants, including all ingredients, lunch (for full-day courses), a Cookery School bag and use of chef jacket and apron throughout the day. Prices from £35 to £175 per person.
